E and J’s Tackle house is a father daughter duo consisting of Elizabeth and Jimmy. Elizabeth is more behind the scenes while Jimmy is the curator of the products. Jimmy has 50 years of fishing experience. He started fishing young while also working on the local pier starting at age 12. Since then he has worked on that pier, the local boats, tackle shops, and bait services. Fishing has been an integral part of his life.
Elizabeth has been fishing with her dad, Jimmy since she could walk. Her earliest memories consist of running up and down the pier with her dad to casting her little mermaid doll into the water. Started there to working with her dad throughout her life. Lately she’s been more focused on being a fisher of men and women for the Lord by beginning her non profit ministry, Enduring By Grace Ministries (enduringbygrace.org) inspired her love for the Lord and her momma (& Jimmy’s wife) who entered heaven in 2015.
Family means a lot to Jimmy and Elizabeth which is part of why this store has been established. A way to generate income without a 9-5 so they can also care for Jimmy’s mom, Elizabeth’s grandma in home safely.
